It is with great pleasure that we warmly welcome you to the 21st Founders Awards Gala and an evening with your peer large scale founders at The City Hall in Stockholm, Sweden on September 22, 2022 (on our 21st anniversary).

The celebration begins with a pre-Gala Drink in The Golden Hall at 6:00 pm (18:00). During the Founders Awards Gala we will enjoy a 3-course dinner, exchange experiences and insights as we are inspired by the evening’s festivities.

For the first time in history founders from various countries around the world have been nominated in each of the three categories of Founder of the Year, Young Founder of the Year and Founder of the Year Honorary Award.

The winners will be announced at the 21st Founders Awards Gala at Stockholm City Hall September 22, 2022. Afterparty at Boulebar, Haga founded by our member Henrik Kruse.

Founders Awards is a number of awards such as Young Founder of the Year, Founder of the Year and Founder of the Year Honorary Award, presented annually by Founders Alliance in Sweden to recognize achievement amongst founders.

The awards were first presented in 2001, and winners will receive a gold-plated and silver-plated statuette commonly called The Growth Rings. The purpose is to inspire the sustainable creation of companies by rewarding and spotlighting particularly successful ones.

To encourage long-term, sustainable and equal ownership, Founders Alliance pays attention to women and men in every step of the entrepreneurial journey and honor winners in five categories: from the young founder, through all phases of a company’s growth cycle to the founder who through a lifetime achievement has developed one or more companies, and who embodies a true role model for other founders.

The Growth Rings

What all founders have in common is that they themselves are a seed that grows into a successful company. Just like trees in a forest, founders are the most important organism in the ecosystem that creates growth in the world. The symbol that pays tribute to these successful founders we call The Growth Rings.

Founders Awards Gala

The City Hall is famous for the grand ceremonial halls as well as its unique art and architecture. It is the venue of the Nobel Prize banquet held on the 10th of December every year.

It is also where Founders Alliance was officially inaugurated over 21 years ago. During the Founders Awards Gala, we enjoy a 3-course dinner and are inspired by each other and from the participating founders on stage.

Dress Code - Cocktail Attire

For Women

As a general rule, stay away from both maxi and mini dresses and opt for something in between. You don't have to wear a cocktail dress to a cocktail party, though—jumpsuits, pantsuits, blazers, and blouses in fine materials are all great alternatives.

For Men

A suit is required for men's cocktail attire. It can be a full suit or separate blazer and pants, but they should still look formal.
