Telegraaf Hotel

The story of Hotel Telegraaf is the continuation of the story of Tallinn. The magnificent building was built in the Tallinn’s Old Town at Vene Street 9 in 1878. Designed by the architect Peter Schreiberg from St. Petersburg, the Telegraaf building was first established as a bank. It was originally a four story building, the two topmost floors added later.

All of our rooms are designed in Modern Art style with Art Deco touches and offer refined and elegant decór. Most of the Hotel Telegraaf rooms feature Medieval Tallinn Old Town views. Our Suites are located in the historical part of building and proudly have the names of famous inventors (Bell, Siemens, Morse and Popov), who have made an unforgettable contribution to promoting communication.

There are little touches of past inventions in all of the guest rooms – pictures of post marks from the past and elements with Morse Code. The antique phones are fully functional and offer a unique experience into the days of old.

The building’s original elements, such as the building’s facade, the famous stairway, and true to the era high ceilings have been fully preserved.

We have pre booked hotel rooms at Telegraaf Hotel. Register if you want to stay for one or two nights.
