Morning Run or Walk

We gather at the entrance of Berns Hotel in Berzelii Park for a refreshing start to the day. Whether you prefer a walk along Skeppsholmen by the water or a run around the beautiful island, this is a great way to wake up, connect, and energize. We will take care of your bags, and you can shower at Sats Birger Jarlsgatan afterward.

🌳 About Skeppsholmen

Skeppsholmen island is known for its peaceful vibe and cultural attractions, including the Moderna Museet, which exhibits works by Picasso, and the Östasiatiska Museet with traditional Asian art. A walkway encircles the island and connects to the Skeppsholmen Bridge, which is embellished with a golden crown. The small, adjacent island of Kastellholmen has a quaint, turreted 19th-century castle.

Speaker & Workshop Morning Sessions One. You Choose Between;

B2B Sales 2026 - AI, New Buying Behaviours & What It Takes to Win with Karolina Brorsson

An exclusive, hands-on workshop with Karolina Brorsson, Founder & CEO of Protosell, exploring what is really happening in B2B sales right now, and what founders should do about it.

AI has solved the problem of creation.

It has also created a problem of abundance.

Infinite content. Infinite outreach. Infinite automation. Finite attention.

Meanwhile, buyers are changing how they discover, evaluate and trust companies. The traditional funnel is fragmenting, AI is reshaping search and research, and human credibility is becoming increasingly valuable.

Karolina will share personal perspectives, real-world observations and lessons from nearly three decades of building B2B growth. Together, we will challenge some established sales truths and actively work with selected areas using the participants' own businesses.

We will explore:

  • Everything is slop - AI killed the cost of creating average. When everyone can create more, how do you become worth paying attention to?
  • Unhinged social is dead - Less broadcasting. More authority. Discovery is fragmenting across AI search, communities, recommendations and real-world encounters. The funnel increasingly looks like pinball.
  • The K-Shaped B2B market - AI makes excellent companies disproportionately better. And mediocre companies disproportionately louder.
  • Where is your market moving? - Moving from just more leads to better intelligence, signals and opportunities.
  • The return of friction - The more digital the world becomes, the more valuable human access becomes. Real conversations, introductions, events and relationships are gaining value again.
  • AI doesn't replace sales - It changes where humans are valuable. What should be automated, and where do judgement, trust and relationships create the advantage?

Come prepared

Bring your laptop and one real commercial challenge from your own company.

A market you want to enter. A pipeline that isn't moving. An ICP that needs sharpening. A sales process that isn't converting. Or a question about where your next wave of growth will come from.

This is not another session about producing more.

The goal is to figure out what deserves to be done better.

Don't leave with more inspiration.

Leave knowing what you would change on Monday.

We start with a Coffee Mingle, so please arrive in time. The workshop starts at 09:20.

The AI-Enhanced Founder with Elin Elkehag Funk, Isak Utegård & Joel Magnusson

The AI-Enhanced Founder

Learn how to make AI work for you. Get more done, lead better and enhance how your company works.

An inspirational and practical workshop led by founder and AI strategist Elin Elkehag Funk, together with AI experts and builders Isak Utegård and Joel Magnusson from Compileit. Designed for founders who want to move beyond understanding AI and start using it to become better at what they do and how they run their business.

AI is moving from a tool we use to agents we work alongside and delegate real work to. For founders, that changes how you spend your time, how you lead, and how your organisation works.

This workshop is about using that shift to free up time for what matters most, while preparing yourself and your company for what’s next. And you will not just talk about it. You will start putting it into practice right away.

What to Expect

  • Understand the shift - Cut through the noise and understand AI, agents and the trends that matter now.
  • Enhance yourself - Find AI tools that work for you and find where it gives you the greatest leverage as a founder and leader.
  • Enhance your organisation - Look across your company to identify where AI can help people perform better, transform workflows or take over work entirely.
  • Meet your digital workforce - Understand what agents actually are, how they change the way work gets done, and see them used in action!
  • Lead humans and agents - Explore the new leadership questions AI creates, and why human judgement, taste and trust matter even more in an AI filled world.
  • Leave ready to act - Create concrete next steps for yourself, your team and your organisation.

Come Prepared

Bring your computer and, if you can, a real case from your own company: a process, product, customer experience or opportunity where you believe an AI agent or workflow could make a difference.

This is not a workshop where you simply listen. You will work on your own AI skills and apply what you learn directly to your business.

Who is it for?

Forward-thinking founders who want to move from AI curiosity to practical application and leave the room with new insights and clear next steps, both for themselves and their companies.

We start with a Coffee Mingle, so please arrive in time. The workshop starts at 09:20.

The Art of Thinking Outside the Box - Innovation, creativity and complex problem solving - with and without AI, by Johan Frisk

The Art of Thinking Outside the Box - Innovation, creativity and complex problem solving - with and without AI, by Johan Frisk

Most expensive mistakes in development are made early, cheaply, and with great confidence. You pick the obvious solution in week one and spend the next year paying for it.

The obstacle is rarely technology. It's that we commit before we've explored. When a problem has many possible answers and no obvious one, the ability to keep several alive, and to know what you don't yet know, becomes a real competitive advantage.

Johan Frisk helped introduce Lean Product Development at Ericsson across more than 12,000 developers during a four-year transformation. He then used the same principles to build OpiFlex, winner of the European Commission Innovation Award and a finalist for the IERA Award, one of the world's most prestigious robotics prizes.

This is a working session, not a lecture. It comes in two parts.

Part 1: The method

Why development so often ends in rework, late discoveries and costly redesigns, and what to do instead.

  • Why it is so hard to genuinely think outside the box, even when you're trying
  • How to generate and test several solution paths before committing to one- How to find your knowledge gaps early, while they're still cheap
  • Creativity without losing structure or speedIt applies wherever there's no obvious answer: products, production, business models, services, organisation, strategy.

Part 2: The same thinking, with AI

Set-Based Design always had one objection. Exploring many alternatives in parallel costs time and people, so teams narrow down early to save both. AI removes most of that cost, which makes the method more useful now than when it was invented.

But the default way people use AI works against innovation. Ask a question, get one confident answer, converge on it before you understand the problem. That's the same failure mode, only faster and with more authority behind it.

  • How to make AI widen the solution space instead of closing it
  • Using it to expose your own assumptions, including the ones nobody wants to raise
  • AI as a red team: let it attack your favourite idea before the market does
  • Where it is genuinely weak, and where it is confidently wrong
  • Demonstrated live, then run by you on your own problem

Who it's for

Founders, business leaders, product and innovation people, engineers, and anyone making decisions where the answer isn't obvious yet.

Bring one real, unresolved challenge from your own work.

The exercises are run on your problem, not a case study. No prior AI experience needed.

We start with a Coffee Mingle, so please arrive in time. The workshop starts at 09:20.

From Big Ideas to Bold Conversations - Four Perspectives

From Big Ideas to Bold Conversations.

Four perspectives. One hour to explore what matters most.

Niclas Carlsson, Founder & CEO of Founders Alliance, will moderate the session and open with a short introductory speech, setting the stage for a morning designed to challenge perspectives, spark curiosity and connect ideas to the questions founders are facing right now.

Begin with four provocative perspectives from four people challenging how we think about the future.

  • Stefan Krook asks us to rethink our relationship with the planet and introduces A New Brief for a Healthy Planet.
  • Johan S. Roos explores The Last Moat: Why the Fastest-Learning Founder Wins the Age of Algorithms - and what it takes to stay ahead when technology changes faster than ever.
  • Hans Otterling takes us to Founders Africa, reminding us that Africa is not simply the future - it’s happening now.
  • And Magnus Tegborg brings us to one of the founder’s most fundamental challenges: How do we create clarity under uncertainty?

Then, at 10:30, the choice is yours.

Choose the conversation that matters most to you.

Go deeper in one of four Round Table Workshops. Challenge the ideas you’ve just heard, share your own experience, and explore the questions that are most relevant to you — together with fellow founders.

A New Brief for a Healthy Planet with Stefan Krook & Lotta Wollentz

We have spent decades learning how to make the most of the market.

But what happens when the rules that made us prosperous are no longer enough to create a future we can live with?

Stefan Krook believes we don't need to abandon the market economy. We need to upgrade it.

In his book The Laghum Economy, Stefan presents a bold but pragmatic idea: what if we shifted the economic incentives so that it becomes profitable to use resources wisely rather than to overconsume them?

At the heart of his thinking is a simple question:

What if we taxed nature instead of work?

By putting a real price on natural resources and emissions, Stefan argues that we could harness the power of markets, entrepreneurship and innovation to create prosperity within the planet's boundaries.

For founders, this raises an even bigger question:

What kind of companies will win when the rules of the economy change?

Join Stefan for a thought-provoking conversation about capitalism, entrepreneurship, innovation and the future of growth - and why the next great economic opportunity may be to make sustainability the most powerful business incentive of all.

Because perhaps the answer isn't to slow down capitalism.

Perhaps we need to make capitalism smarter.

Exchange with your peers

After the morning's speakers, you choose where you want to go deeper.

The workshop will be moderated by Lotta Wollentz, Chief Orchestrator and CEO at The Laghum Economy, guiding the conversation and helping turn ideas into meaningful dialogue and new perspectives.

Select the speaker or topic that challenged, inspired or made you curious  - and join a small peer-founder exchange to discuss what it means for you, your company and the decisions ahead.

Listen. Exchange.

The Last Moat: Why the Fastest-Learning Founder Wins the Age of Algorithms with Johan S Roos

The Last Moat: Why the Fastest-Learning Founder Wins the Age of Algorithms

AI has made intelligence abundant and cheap,  which means it has stopped being an advantage. So what actually defends a company now? Drawing on the fastest learning loop on the planet (built by a society at war) and on his new book Human Magic, Dr. Johan S. Roos argues that your one durable moat is the speed and quality of human judgment feeding your decisions, and that the AI you're rushing to adopt  may be quietly eroding exactly that.

This is not a playbook. It is food for thought, grounded in current evidence and hard reasoning, built around three questions for leaders:

  • How fast does your company actually learn - faster than your market is changing, or slower?
  • When everyone can rent the same intelligence you can, what is genuinely still yours?
  • Are your people getting sharper alongside the AI, or quietly the other way around, on KPIs that looks great either way?

Exchange with your peers

After the morning's speakers, you choose where you want to go deeper.

Select the speaker or topic that challenged, inspired or made you curious  - and join a small peer-founder exchange to discuss what it means for you, your company and the decisions ahead.

Founders Africa: Africa Is Not the Future. It’s Happening Now with Hans Otterling

Founders Africa: Africa Is Not the Future. It’s Happening Now.

Hans Otterling, Founding Partner of Norrsken22, brings more than three decades of experience as an entrepreneur, investor and technology leader to a conversation about one of the world’s most dynamic growth markets.

Africa is often described as the continent of the future. But for a new generation of founders, investors and innovators, the future is already happening.

Across the continent, entrepreneurs are building technology companies, solving enormous challenges and creating entirely new markets. A young population, rapid digitalisation and a growing technology ecosystem are creating opportunities that reach far beyond Africa itself.

Drawing on his experience from building companies, investing in some of Europe’s most successful technology businesses and now backing Africa’s next generation of founders, Hans Otterling will explore what is really happening across the continent — and what global founders can learn from it.

A conversation about opportunity, ambition and the founders shaping what comes next.

Exchange with your peers

After the morning's speakers, you choose where you want to go deeper.

What Happens When Founders Unite by Niclas Carlsson

At Founders Alliance, our greatest quest has always been to unite founders — bringing together different experiences, perspectives and stories to create something greater than any one of us could achieve alone.

In this session, Niclas Carlsson, Founder & CEO of Founders Alliance, will open with the story behind our Quests and how founders are coming together to create change -  through their companies, their communities and initiatives beyond Founders Alliance.

We then turn to our biggest Quest: each other.

In a founder-to-founder workshop, you will sit around tables with peer founders, each guided by a dedicated moderator. You will share the challenges you are facing right now, exchange experiences and contribute your perspectives, ideas and connections to help each other move forward.

Your challenge may be someone else’s experience. Your experience may be someone else’s breakthrough.

After the workshop, we will welcome the founders leading three of these journeys to the stage:

  • Ingmar Rentzhog, Founder of We Don't Have Time and co-leader of the Founders for the Planet Quest;
  • Patricia Olby Kimondo, Founder of People Productions & Pamoja and leader of the Female Founders Quest; and
  • Andrius Francas, Founder of Alliance for Recruitment and leader of the Quest for a Safer World.

Because sometimes, the most powerful thing a founder can do is not build alone - but bring others together.

Our Biggest Quest: Bring founders together to solve challenges together.

Our biggest Quest has always been simple: bring founders together to solve challenges together.

Today, we start at the tables. Each table will have a moderator, and we begin with a brief founder presentation round - who you are, and what you are building.

Then we go deeper.

For the rest of the session, you will have the opportunity to share your challenge, draw on the experience around the table, and contribute to each other’s journeys - the thing making Founders Alliance unique since the start in 2002 - peer founders enabling growth in a trusted space.

You have 75 minutes in total. Lunch will be served after the presentation round, giving the conversations space to unfold naturally.

After the table discussions, we will bring the room together and welcome our Quest Leaders to the stage - founders who are taking on challenges that reach beyond their own companies and are creating change in society & value for all Founders Alliance members.

Because this is what Founders Alliance is about:

For founders, by founders. Sharing what we know. Helping each other move forward. And, together, taking on challenges bigger than ourselves.

Founders Planet Quest - From Ambition to Action with Ingmar Rentzhog

Founders Planet Quest - From Ambition to Action

As part of the 12th Founders for the Planet.

Ingmar Rentzhog, Founder of We Don't Have Time and Co-Leader of the Founders for the Planet Quest, will open the session with a thought-provoking perspective on the role founders can play in building a more sustainable world.

What if building a successful company and building a sustainable world were not two different missions - but the same one?

Rather than gathering for a workshop immediately after the session, we will continue the conversation at the Founders Conference in Stockholm on November 11th, where Joachim Karthäuser will moderate a dedicated founder-to-founder session.

There, founders will come together to share the sustainability challenges they are facing, exchange experiences and explore practical ways forward.

Come with a challenge. Share what you have learned. Contribute your experience to others.

Your challenge may be someone else's experience. Your experience may be someone else's breakthrough.

Together, we will explore how founders can turn sustainability from ambition into action — in our companies, our investments and the wider world.

The conversation will also contribute to the global dialogue hosted by We Don't Have Time, connecting the ideas and insights of our founders to a broader movement for positive change.

Female Founders Quest - Growing Through Each Other with Patricia Olby Kimondo

Female Founders Quest - Growing Through Each Other

Part of 5th Female Founders Summit

What can we learn from the stories of other women who build and lead companies?

Patricia Olby Kimondo, Founder of People Productions, Pamoja and Double Up Impact, and leader of the Female Founders Quest, will share reflections and findings from her journey among female founders - and explore the challenges, choices and turning points that shape the founder journey.

At 3 PM, we gather all participating female founders for a two-hour deep dive - creating a space to share our stories, backgrounds, challenges and experiences, and to support each other’s growth.

This is not about having all the answers. It is about being curious, open and generous with what we have learned.

Bring your story. Bring your challenges. Bring what you have learned.

Together, we create a space where one founder’s experience can become another founder’s insight - and where we can grow stronger by not building alone.

Founders Quest Safer World - Strengthening the Baltic-Nordic Community with Andrius Francas

In times of uncertainty, founders have a role to play beyond building companies. They can build connections, resilience and trust across borders.

The Founders Quest Safer World, led by Andrius Francas, brings founders from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland together to strengthen collaboration and build a more resilient Baltic-Nordic region.

Andrius brings unique experience to this Quest. He was also the Founder Leader behind Founders for Ukraine, bringing founders together to support Ukraine and mobilise the business community in response to the war.

Today, he will share the story behind this ongoing Founders Quest — the challenges we see, the opportunities for deeper regional cooperation, and how founders can contribute through their companies, networks, knowledge and initiatives.

At 3:00 PM, we will gather for a dedicated founder-to-founder workshop to take the conversation further. Together, we will explore how we can collaborate across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland - and what we can do, as founders, to strengthen the region in these times.

The ambition is simple but important:

To connect founders across the region, strengthen each other, and build a safer and more resilient future together.

Because in challenging times, strong regions are built not only by governments and institutions, but by people who choose to collaborate.

The Nordic-Baltic Edge: Book Launch & Nordic-Baltic Leadership Seminar with Jörgen Eriksson & Christer Asplund

The Nordic-Baltic Edge: Book Launch & Nordic-Baltic Leadership Seminar

We would be delighted to welcome you as our personal guest for the launch of our new book, The Nordic-BalticEdge, at Berns in Stockholm.

After four decades of working across the region, we have brought together our experience and practical insights around a fundamental question:

How can eight relatively small Nordic and Baltic countries combine their distinctive strengths – trust, innovation, openness and collaboration – to create greater competitive advantage and global relevance in a rapidly changing world?

Written in close dialogue with Professor Philip Kotler and other international experts, The Nordic-Baltic Edge explores how competitiveness is built through entrepreneurship, investment, ecosystems and leadership – and through collaboration between business, government, academia and civil society.

This will not be a conventional book presentation. We are bringing together a select group of founders, business leaders, investors, bankers, policy-makers and other key decision-makers for an interactive conversation about the Nordic-Baltic region’s next chapter – and the opportunities it creates for business, investment and society.

AGENDA & SPEAKERS

14.30: Registration and networking

  • Light refreshments served in the Studio outside Kammarsalen.

15.00: Opening remarks

  • Professor Philip Kotler - One of the world’s leading authorities on marketing and place development, providing a pre-recorded international perspective on the book and the Nordic-Baltic opportunity.

INTERACTIVE SEMINAR

Facilitated by the authors:

CONFIRMED KEY CONTRIBUTORS:

EXAMPLES OF DISCUSSION TOPICS

Bridging Generations – Sharing Wisdom, Vision, and New Perspectives with Thomas & Sebastian Blendow & Jonas Carpvik

Bridging Generations – Sharing Wisdom, Vision, and New Perspectives

Exclusively for founders and their Next Generation.

Purpose

What happens when the generation that built the company meets the generation that will shape its future?

This workshop brings founders and the next generation together for an open and practical conversation about ownership, leadership, legacy and renewal.

Whether you are bringing a successor from your company or joining solo, the session offers a unique opportunity to reflect, share experiences and explore how different generations can build the future together.

The conversation will be grounded in the real-life story of Thomas Blendow and his son Sebastian Blendow, who represents the next generation at Blendow Group.

Jonas Carpvik, founder of Carpvik Consulting and an experienced CEO, Chairman and advisor to owner-led companies, will add an independent perspective on leadership, ownership, succession and the human dynamics behind successful generational transitions.

Who It’s For

  • Founders bringing the next generation from their companies - family members, emerging leaders or potential successors
  • Founders joining without a next-gen participant - your experience and perspective can be invaluable to others
  • Next-generation entrepreneurs and leaders navigating their role, responsibility and future
  • Anyone committed to long-term value creation, impact and legacy

Key Questions

  • What should the next generation inherit — and what should they reinvent?
  • How do you transfer values without limiting new ideas?
  • When should a founder step back — and what does “letting go” really mean?
  • How can different generations build trust and make decisions together?
  • What does a successful transition actually look like?

Core Topics

Entrepreneurial Legacy - What do you want to leave behind, and what is worth carrying forward?

Next-Gen Leadership - What matters most to tomorrow’s leaders?

Business with Purpose - How do we align values, sustainability and innovation?

Future Readiness - How do we navigate technology, change and increasing complexity?

Courageous Conversations - How do we talk about expectations, responsibility, control and the things that often remain unsaid?

Agenda

15:00 – 15:15 | Welcome, Check-In & Getting to Know Each Other

Coffee is served at the tables. We begin with a short round-table introduction, giving participants the opportunity to get to know each other and share where they are in their own generational journey.

15:15 – 15:25 | One Family. Two Generations. One Future.

Thomas Blendow, Moderator and founder of Blendow Group, welcomes the group together with his son Sebastian Blendow, representing the next generation at Blendow Group.

They share their personal journey of generational transition — from the perspectives of both the founder and the next generation:

  • What drives us?
  • What has been difficult?
  • What do we want to preserve?
  • What needs to change?
  • How do we create continuity while allowing the next generation to create its own path?

15:25 – 15:35 | Built by a Founder. Carried by Generations.

Jonas Carpvik, founder of Carpvik Consulting, shares insights from his experience working with owner-led companies, leadership, business development and generational transitions.

Built by a Founder. Carried by Generations.

The presentation explores some of the key challenges and opportunities involved in building family-owned businesses that can remain successful across generations.

Rather than viewing succession primarily as a question of who will take over, it broadens the perspective to what the family, ownership structure and organization need to become capable of sustaining over time.

It addresses the transition from founder-dependent to more structurally sustainable companies, the interaction between family, ownership and business roles, and the importance of clarity around responsibilities, mandates and decision-making.

Particular attention is given to the different - yet interconnected - transitions facing founders and the next generation.

The presentation also explores how unclear structures and unspoken expectations can develop into personal tensions, and why addressing difficult questions early is an important part of responsible long-term ownership.

The introduction concludes by inviting participants to reflect on three areas: dependence, clarity and capacity - creating a starting point for an open exchange of experiences around the tables.

The purpose is not to present one model for successful succession, but to offer perspectives and questions that stimulate a relevant, experience-based dialogue between founders and next-generation family members.

15:35 – 16:40 | Exchange in Groups moderated by Jonas Carpvik

  • Small-group conversations exploring:
  • Are you before, during or after a generational shift?
  • What drives you as a founder or next-generation leader?
  • What are your biggest challenges? What should be preserved - and what needs to change?
  • How do you share responsibility and decision-making?
  • What conversations need to happen now?

16:40 – 17:00 | Closing: What Will You Carry Forward?

Each group shares one insight, question or idea.

Thomas, Sebastian and Jonas close with reflections on what it takes to bridge generations — not simply to transfer ownership, but to transfer wisdom, responsibility and the courage to create something new.

The Invitation

Come with your experience.

Come with your questions.

Come with your next generation — or come alone.

Because the future of a company is not only about who takes over. It is about what the next generation chooses to do with what they inherit.
